About Che Che...
Che Che Luna (they/them) is a certified sexuality educator, somatic movement facilitator and ecoerotic artist dedicated to collaborative liberatory praxis. Their lens as a queer, trans, mixed, Autistic, kinky, polyamorous being informs their multidisciplinary work, which includes ecosomatics, inherited ancestral knowledges, social justice frameworks and multi-cultural dance studies. It is their honor and life’s work to support queer and gender expansive humans in reclaiming the body as a source of pleasure, elemental wisdom, expansion, transformation, erotic aliveness, autonomy, interconnectedness, and love. Luna evokes permission for others to live into their truth, heal from systemic oppression, embody their desires, and find their own access points into the sensual body and the collective interdependent body of the more-than-human world.
Che Che was born and raised on the sacred lands of the Chumash people (Santa Barbara, California). Their papa’s ancestors are indigenous to the desert of Sonora, México and South Central Arizona. Their mama’s ancestors are settlers from England and The Balkans. Che moves through the world with a deep and humbling awe for the ways that their chosen family, friends, beloveds, teachers, mentors, collaborators, plant + animal allies, landscapes and histories, in all of their constellations of existence, come together to shape who they are today and inspire them to be the ancestor our future needs. To build a sense of belonging, reconnection and repair to their origins, Che Che has a long standing practice of dancing with the earth and listening to the beingness of relationship that is our connection to each other, the land, and the multiplicity of beings within and around us. This practice has become foundational in their space holding over the last decade of co-creating body based experiential workshops, 1:1 sessions, gatherings, ceremonies, celebrations and performances. A forever student, they are devoted to a lifetime of (un)learning, decolonizing, and providing deep community care.
Some of the activists, creatives, educators and disruptors that have shaped Che Che are Audre Lorde, Angela Davis, Bell Hooks, adrienne maree brown, Mia Mingus, Bianca Laureano, Gloria Anzaldúa, Alok Vaid-Menon, Kai Cheng Thom, Ev’Yan Whitney and Caffyn Jesse. I am a proud descendant of sacred erotic courtesans from Ancient Mexico, and the work I am doing would not be possible without the queer femme sex workers, birth and death doulas, grief workers, and two-spirit activists that have come before me.
Some of Che's groundlaying trainings and certifications include:
Nationally Qualified Level 10 Gymnast, B.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Dance Minor from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Certified Holistic Sex Educator from the Institute for Sexuality Education & Enlightenment (ISEE), ANTE UP! Sexuality Educator Certification, and they are currently studying through the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education program.

"Working with Che Che feels like the most intimate revolution."
- Autumn Wheeler
”My relationship to my sensuality, pleasure and sexuality has undergone a massive transformation with Che Che's care. One that's been powerful in its softness, playfulness and radiance. This work is an infinite well of goodness, and Che Che takes you to the source - YOUR OWN BODY."
- Julia Bray

To honor the wisdom, value, brilliance and skills of Sex Workers is to acknowledge that I wouldn't be here without them. Sex Workers have had to become experts in reading bodies, navigating power, modeling boundaries and consent, and adapting to shifting needs within violent and oppressive systems that dehumanize and criminalize them. They carry skills that are embodied, relational, and often learned at great risk.
When we extract practices without naming their origins, we risk erasing the very humans who made them possible. To me, honoring lineage is about refusing erasure, resisting co-optation, and staying accountable to the roots of this sacred work.
Centering anti-oppression values within Somatic Sex Education is essential because bodies do not experience harm or safety in equal ways. Somatic work that ignores power can become another site of coercion, subtly reinforcing who is allowed to feel, to speak, to desire, to take up space.
Anti-oppression somatics invite us to build capacity rather than compliance. It asks us to slow down, listen, repair, and redistribute power in real time. The counter-normative ethics that I aspire to embody in everything I do are not a destination. They are an approach - a set of ongoing practices that require humility, adaptability, and relationship. They live in questions rather than answers. They ask us to stay in the conversation when things get messy. They invite us to practice discernment instead of righteousness, curiosity instead of certainty.
When I practice co-creating spaces that make room for emergence, something opens towards liberating forms of intimacy, kinship, care, and desire to take shape beyond what we have been taught is possible. We make room for relationships that do not fit dominant scripts. We let the body teach us what safety, connection, and freedom can look and feel like - again and again, moment to moment.
For me, to be of service to queer community as a Somatic Sex Educator is to choose erotic aliveness over binaries of right/wrong or good/bad. And to remember that the most powerful teachings I carry were born in places the (cishet colonial patriarchal) world tried to erase.
My Work is Rooted in Solidarity with All Sex Workers...
